We're not certain of the precise origin of this rug, but its style is derivative of the flat-weave Kilim style hand-woven by Berber women of Morocco's Middle Atlas Mountains. The striations of rich browns, tans and creams are intricate and complex, creating an ombre effect. We love the variance and irregularity of stripes and brighter pops of color in the intricate tribal motifs. Definitely the work of a skilled master weaver.

Excellent condition. However, as with most antique and vintage items, slight imperfections are inherent and wear is consistent with age.
