This is a large, beautiful example of the skill and primitive style of rug woven by the Beni Ourain of Morocco. The asymmetric tribal motifs, and unusual saffron-colored yarns make this piece truly unique. Dark, solid edges and intricate bands of pattern create a wonderfully rich and dense border.

Good condition. However, as with most antique and vintage items, slight imperfections are inherent and wear is consistent with age. Some bleeding of the colored yarns has occurred, most likely from cleaning.
