Moroccan Colorful Diamond Wool Boucheroite Rug M3
Moroccan Colorful Diamond Wool Boucheroite Rug M3
This is a very exciting, contemporary example of the skill and primitive style of rug woven by the Berber tribe of Morocco. Woven by female weavers in often modest households, these rugs are a method of incorporating discarded scraps of cotton, nylon and wool, and very frequently, retired clothing.
This rug features vibrant concentric dotted diamonds in vibrant hues of teal, hot pink and violet. It is rare to find a rug of this type with a repeated, regular pattern. Truly exquisite, the work of a master weaver. Perfectly suited for an office or seating area, and paired with midcentury decor.
Excellent condition. However, as with most antique and vintage items, slight imperfections are inherent and wear is consistent with age.
Dimensions: 7'6" x 6'1", not including fringe.
