This is a massive and breathtaking example of the skill and primitive style of rug woven by the Beni Ourain of Morocco. Rich, optic red criss-crosses the rug, outlined and fringed with a deep chocolate brown against a neutral cream background. We love the vibrancy and intensity of the repeated motif, and the subtle asymmetry of one end with a drastic change of scale and omission of red. This rug is truly stunning, and perfectly suited for traditional or contemporary decor.

Excellent condition. However, as with most antique and vintage items, slight imperfections are inherent and wear is consistent with age.
